About:
Cell for IPR Promotion & Management (CIPAM) is a professional body under the aegis of Department of Industrial Policy & Promotion (DIPP), Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India.
CIPAM is working towards ensuring focused action on issues related to IPRs and addresses the 7 objectives of the National IPR Policy adopted by the Indian Cabinet in May 2016. CIPAM assists in simplifying and streamlining of IP processes, apart from undertaking further steps for furthering IPR awareness, commercialization and enforcement.
Role:
Junior Consultant
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s Degree with 3 years of post-qualification working experience.
- Age limit: Below 35 years as on Jan 1, 2025
- Desirable Qualification: Candidates with a Master’s Degree, and post-qualification experience in the field of IPR, with an academic Institution, Company, Firm, Think Tank, Government Department, etc. will be given preference.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting in research b. and analysis of National and International IP Policies, regulations, and best practices,
- Coordinating communication with stakeholders, such as Government Departments, Industry Groups, and International Bodies,
- Assisting in conducting awareness programs in Schools, Colleges, Judicial Academies, Police Academies etc.
- d. Assisting with matters related to protection of Intellectual Property Rights, including Trademarks, Patents, Copyrights, Designs Geographical Indications. and
- Drafting Minutes of the Meeting, Letters, Memorandum, and Policy briefs.
- The position requires the ability to undertake travel within India and abroad as necessary.
