Lead Compliance Analyst
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in a related field
- 3+ years in an operational position, preferably with a focus on control testing and monitoring
- Prior work experience within financial services or financial technology
- Experience with consumer financing is preferred, but not required
- Passion for risk management with a desire for operational excellence and efficiency
- Analytically driven with the ability to interpret and derive insights from data
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, with exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable interacting and collaborating with business functions and individuals throughout the institution (both laterally and horizontally)
Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for executing the compliance testing and issue management functions of the organization. In addition to becoming a subject matter expert in designated testing areas, you will have the opportunity to understand and explore the various inherent risks and mitigating controls within those areas. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Conducting tests and assessments of compliance and operational controls across the MPOWER organization
- Following up with business units to support incident resolution and process improvement
- Obtaining, reconciling, and analyzing internal and third-party reporting
- Providing day-to-day support of key compliance processes, including OFAC reviews, marketing and information sharing opt-outs, and data deletion requests
- Proactively identifying opportunities to enhance the customer experience through findings and trends from reviews and testing
