Responsibilities:
- Assist in protecting the organisation’s interests in India
- Assist India Legal on client contracting matters like drafting and negotiation of engagement letters and ancillary client related agreements
- Assist India Legal to drive key risk management policy issues facing the business
- Assist India Legal to support and drive compliance and regulatory matters in India
- Assist India legal with drafting and negotiation of other commercial contracts, including supplier agreements
- Assist India legal on legal matters and to manage any litigation and document requests
- Should have document review and contracting experience
- Should have policy drafting and new policy / process rollout experience

SKills, Qualifications And Application:
- You will likely have 6 to 8 years post qualification experience, ideally combining time spent working in house and in private practice.
- Should have exposure in client, commercial and/or transactional contracting (esp. review and negotiation) and basic understanding of the legal challenges inherent to professional services firms.
- This role with will require a multi-cultural perspective – fluency in spoken and written business English is essential.
