Qualifications:
- LLB
- 2-6 Years in similar profile
Responsibilities:
Legal Compliance Management and Risk Assessment
- Identifying & ensuring compliance with all the regulatory & statutory Acts, Rules, Regulations and norms erc. governing the industry and other Compliance Obligations under various legislations.
- Assessment of the Status of Compliance through observation and documentation. Ensures compliances of the organization and monitoring of compliance with those obligations
- Identification of gaps in current compliance and providing consistent compliance verification by facilitating continuous improvement.
- Conducting Industrial and legal research, identification of legislations as per their applicability on the Industry as part of database & to upload contents in Software.
- Preparation of compliance checklists for different legislations for e.g. Central Acts & Rules, State Acts & Rules, Central Regulation and Municipal Laws, bye laws applicable to all Industry varticles
- Overall Categories: Corporate, SEBI, EHS, Labour, Information technology, IPR, Metrology, warehouse, others & Industry Verticals wise etc.
- To conduct the legal research for regulatory legal updates, creating list of legal updates, segregating legal update category and carry out legal update related to respective compliance.
- Activity participate in compliance tool implementation at client end, including support for client demo.
Activities undertaken for Legal process /Legal Affairs
- Keeping proper record and track for all Compliance checklist and legal updates. Keeping track of work process, co-coordinating with IT team for compliance tool changes.
- QC of compliance tool data on standard interval.
- Preparing weekly and Monthly compliance calendars
- Preparing weekly Legal update list
- Product Implementation for client
- All other ancillary work.
