Role:
Litigation Associate
Location:
Mumbai, India
Qualification:
- LL.B. (mandatory); LL.M. with specialization in IP (preferred)
- Strong command over trademark and copyright laws, with knowledge of patent and design laws.
- Legal drafting, research, and analytical skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple matters with strict deadlines.
- Good communication skills (written and verbal) for client interaction and regulatory correspondence.
- Proficiency in IP databases and online filing systems.
Experience:
2 years
Responsibilities:
- Drafting, filing, and prosecuting trademark, copyright, and design applications before the Trade Marks Registry, Copyright Office, and Patent Office.
- Preparing responses to examination reports, oppositions, rectifications, and appeals.
- Conducting IP searches, opinions, and due diligence exercises.
- Maintaining and updating docketing records, deadlines, and prosecution status reports.
