Qualifications:
- 3+ years of public policy/ development experience (preferably at least 1 year of grassroots experience)·
- Fluency in English and Hindi (written, spoken)·
- Strong analytical skills, both quantitative and qualitative
- Ability to present information in a structured and insightful manner
- Excellent communication skills and an eye for detail
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment with a strong desire to learn new skills
- Ability to use design and presentation software like CANVA and PowerPoint
- Comfort with large datasets and data modelling in Excel
- Strong preference for someone who can manage and grow org online presence
Responsibilities:
- Support research projects to build thought leadership on key public policy issues
- Curate and run public policy workshops and talks for students and young professionals
- Develop short explanatory posts, briefs and videos on topical policy issues
- Track and analyse regulatory, political and market developments in key sectors to formulate evidence backed positions on relevant policy issues
- Identify and build a network of stakeholders including experts and practitioners to understand & analyse topical policy issues
- Ideate and execute advocacy programs on selected public policy issues·
- Have people management and mentorship skills and experience (for those over 5 years of experience)
Salary:
Remuneration commensurate with thinktank standards and relevant experience
