Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Law from a recognized institution.
- Proficiency in both English and Marathi languages for effective communication.
- Technical proficiency in legal software and tools for document management and research.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
Experience:
- Manage and organize case files, ensuring accuracy and accessibility for advocates.
- Prepare legal documents for physical filing in courts and e-filing of matters as per court requirements.
- Assist advocates in drafting pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
- Coordinate with clients, witnesses, and other parties involved in legal proceedings, including scheduling meetings and appointments.
- Assist in trial preparation, including organizing exhibits, witness materials, and courtroom logistics.
- Draft correspondence, including letters and emails, on behalf of advocates and clients.
- Maintain and update case management systems and databases with relevant case information.
- Review and summarize legal documents, contracts, and discovery materials for advocate review.
- Conduct legal research on relevant laws, regulations, and legal articles to support case preparation.
- Stay informed about changes in laws and regulations relevant to the firm’s practice areas.
