Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree or paralegal certification from an accredited institution.
- Proficiency in trademark docketing systems and legal research databases.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of trademark procedures and compliance requirements
Experience:
- 4+ years of progressive work experience as a paralegal at a law firm or in-house dealing in Trademarks, Copyrights and Designs.
- Experience in invoicing/billing.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting trademark searches, Preparing and filing trademark/copyright/design forms with relevant authorities.
- Assist in drafting trademark/copyright/design prosecution-related notices, letters, responses, and correspondence.
- Maintain databases, including monitoring deadlines, renewals and docketing and managing trade mark portfolios.
- Must have the ability to maintain relationships and work confidently with people at all levels.
- Coordinate with attorneys and clients for seamless trademark-related operations.
