About:
The IIC is a Social Impact Fellowship that aims to create scalable solutions for critical
social challenges and nurture future leaders in the development space. The IIC, founded in 2013, recruits and places high-performing young professionals with up to five-years of experience and top-tier academic backgrounds from Indian and U.S. universities, on teams that work on-site with governments and foundations to implement large- scale projects to address India’s most critical evelopment challenges. The program aims at creating scalable, sustainable, and long-term social impact. IIC teams design interventions, pilot solutions, implement and iterate, and record and scale best practices by engaging stakeholders.
The IIC India Program places teams of diverse young professionals within the Indian government and leading social enterprises. IIC teams have worked in a range of sectors, including urban development, gender, education, energy & environment, healthcare, and water & sanitation. Functionally, the IIC works on large- scale project management, organizational strengthening and capacity building, and data and policy analytics.

Qualifications:
- The candidate should have graduated with Bachelor’s degree in public policy, economics, statistics, digital health, public health, engineering, social sciences or a similar field. Master’s degree is preferred but not mandatory.
- The candidate should have prior experience of 3-5 years of relevant experience across consulting firms, not-for-profits, or product development firms. Candidates with prior experience working on digital platforms will be preferred.
- Competencies
- Knowledge and understanding of developing large-scale products are preferred, but not mandatory. The candidate should be interested in learning about new technologies.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain positive relationships with internal/external partners are required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present in a simple and straightforward way for non-technical audiences required.
- Ability to work and deliver on short deadlines.
- High aptitude in using Microsoft Office software.
Responsibilities:
- Stakeholder Management
- Establishing relationships with key stakeholders across the system to institute strong governance structures
- Regular co-ordination with different stakeholders (government stakeholders implementation partners, funders etc.) through update meetings
- Manage stakeholders and lead the strategy and implementation of taking the product to market, working closely with hospitals, health apps, and other digital health ecosystem players.
- Project Management
- Create overall strategy, design, deliverables, and work plans for the project
- Lead the development and go-to-market strategy of a large-scale digital health platform being developed by the government of India.
- Conduct research on digital health platforms, user journeys, and market landscape to develop a high-quality product and GTM strategy
- Work closely with the technology team to align platform priorities and oversee development.
- Collaborate with policy teams to develop the platform policy, ensuring platform nuances and ecosystem dynamics are included.
- Produce communication materials such as technical reports, case studies, and thematic stories on behalf of the assignment.
