Research Analyst or Research Assistant

Foreign Policy – Climate Cooperation and Critical Minerals
Qualifications:
- The candidate must have either a Master’s (Analyst) or Undergraduate (Assistant) degree in International Relations, Public Policy, or any other related subject. The position is commensurate with the candidate’s experience.
- Awareness about the key debates happening in the subject area: prior research experience and specialization on climate change and/or critical minerals is a plus.
- Excellent writing and communication skills, including the ability to engage with qualitative methods, advanced scholarship and academic publications.
- Ability to support the research process on multiple studies at any point and make progress with guidance from senior scholars and fellows at CSEP. Enthusiasm to support the production of cutting edge research that is policy relevant.
- Strong administrative and skills to coordinate a research program, work in a team and interact with different internal and external stakeholders to produce, communicate and disseminate CSEP’s research.
