About:
The Centre for Social and Economic Progress (CSEP) conducts in-depth, policy relevant research and provides evidence-based recommendations to the challenges facing India and the world. It draws on the expertise of its researchers, extensive interactions with policy makers as well as convening power to enhance the impact of research.
Role: Research Assistant
Location: New Delhi
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in economics, engineering, public policy or related field.
- Some knowledge of, and familiarity with, the power sector.
- Interest in energy policy.
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively.
- Good quantitative skills and high degree of proficiency in MS Office and other relevant tools.
- Good writing skills.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out research on specific topics under the guidance of the team.
- General support to the team covering literature searches, data gathering and analyses.
- General support to the group including organizing workshops and other events, coordination with stakeholders, and preparation of publications.
