Qualifications:
- LLM or LLB with 8 to 10 years of post-qualification experience in property laws and local laws including in-depth knowledge of land revenue act, stamp & registration act, forest conservation act etc.
Experience:
8-10 Years
Responsibilities:
All legal matters regarding Land acquisition for wind and solar projects related documentation, due diligence, interaction with aggregators for smooth acquisition of land, pathway and ROW management.
- Stay updated with state land laws, property laws and local laws including in-depth knowledge of land revenue act, stamp & registration act, forest conservation act etc.
- Deal with all legal issues relating to conversion of agricultural land, mutation, exchange, amalgamation of land, stamp duty and registration of documents, review of title search reports,
- Draft MoU/LoI, agreements for sale, conveyance deeds, land facilitation agreements, part performance agreements, powers of attorney, crop compensation agreements and other connected documents for land acquisition / transfer
- Assist and advise the land team towards obtaining permissions from all government and regulatory and authorities for acquisition and transfer of land in the name of the Company and for implementation of projects and ensure proper documentation of land purchase/lease
- Deal with vendors, consultants, land agents, internal departments for various land development activities and project execution
- Interact with state revenue authorities for necessary title verification certificates in accordance with the standards
- Liaison with external Lawyers
- Legal MIS
- Such other work as may be assigned within the legal team from time to time
