Role:
Senior Legal Counsel
Qualification:
- LLB., Over all 5+Years with with 3+ years of relevant legal experience. In-house experience in a product company is a must
- Significant experience in handling complex commercial transactions, including IT services agreement, licensing contacts, partnership agreements, subcontracting and vendor contracts
- Comprehensive understanding of complex contractual issues, assess risk, and independently provide concise business-focused legal advice
- Effectively handling contract disputes
- Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize to close critical deals
- Working with internal stakeholders from various business functions
- Highly self-motivated to lead projects with minimal supervision
- Excellent judgment and can craft creative solutions
- Analytical ability and strong attention to detail
Responsibilities:
- Review, draft, negotiate and manage complex SaaS/Cloud and other kinds of licensing agreements as well as Master Services Agreements.
- Build legal frameworks and strategies for outbound and inbound software licensing transactions
- Resolve legal issues and contract interpretation matters
- Handling contract disputes and liaising with law firms where required
- Discuss with internal stakeholders to structure contracts and respond to RFP / RFI
- Assist in developing framework from a legal perspective for software products creation and launch
