About:
When they conducted research on the housing market in India, they understood that the primary pain points that inhibit the growth of affordable housing, seamless transactions, and greater transparency in the sector. Realising that lack of information on title and valuation hampers both investments and the ability to leverage property assets for financing, they decided to start Teal.
At Teal they aim to create the largest centralised repository of title and valuation-related information on real estate assets in India. They are working on using big data and machine learning to clean up land records and open up ‘dead’ capital for financing for households across the country. The ultimate vision is to remove the uncertainty of title and provide clear property rights for a billion people.
Role:
Senior Legal Executive
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in drafting title search reports
- Ability to lead and manage a team effectively
- Good understanding of real estate laws (Having sound knowledge of RERA is an added advantage)
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Pays attention to detail
- Is proficient in Kannada
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
Responsibilities:
- Drafting Title Search Reports when necessary
- Verifying, Finalizing and Signing off on Title Search Reports prepared
- Performing quality check of the reports prepared by the team to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Effective management of cases allotted and timely resolution of any escalations
- Monitoring the performance of the team and providing necessary guidance and feedback
- Addressing and resolving any concerns, queries or challenges faced by the team
- Ensuring that the team drafts quality reports within the prescribed Turn Around Time
- Conduct training sessions for new joiners to ensure they quickly adapt to the new system and can contribute to the team
