Role:
The company is hiring a Senior Associate – Legal, mainly for production agreements. Reporting to Assistant Legal Counsel, the incumbent will be responsible for providing legal support for the Network Channel’s Production and the production vertical ‘Studio Next’.
Educational & Work Experiences / Key Requirements:
- LL.B. (undergraduate law degree) from a recognized university in India.
- PQE of 7-8 years. Relevant experience should be as an in-house lawyer and/or in law firms. Experience in courts by way of ‘private practice’ shall not be accounted for.
- Substantial experience of the incumbent must be in media and entertainment industry specifically in transactions relating to production of content and licensing/ acquisition of content, which shall carry the maximum weightage.
- Should have in-depth knowledge of the Copyright Act, 1957
- Desirable Experience: Diplomas in legal vocations/subjects like Media and Entertainment, Intellectual Property Rights etc. shall be given weightage but are not must.
