Responsibilities:
- Drafting, reviewing, vetting and rendering advice and directing on legal issues involving contracts, including documentations in terms of Sale Deeds, MOU, NDAs, Lease and Licensing arrangements.
- Communications, notice preparation with Advocates & taking feedback regarding the ongoing cases.
- Reviewing and preparing general correspondence, notices, letters etc.
- Providing support to other in house departments on various regulatory compliance and with government authorities.
- Preparing MIS of ongoing Cases and Agreements.
- Assist in review and advise management on legal implications of internal policies and procedures.
- Advisory to various business line / departments of the Company on various legal issues.
- Assist the Reporting Manager in various legal advisory work as may be assigned.
- Qualified as a lawyer in India with at 3 to 6 years of legal experience (either as in-house counsel or as a lawyer in a law firm)
- Ability to communicate and articulate legal issues effectively with colleagues at all levels and across different jurisdictions
- Strong drafting and legal analytical skills
- Ability to prioritize and proactively manage workflow in a multi-jurisdictional transaction environment
- Ability to timely and appropriately identify risks and escalate issues to relevant stakeholders
- Ability to manage and control legal risks in a constructive manner
