Role:
International Arbitration Trainee.
Qualifications:
· Undergraduate and/or graduate law degree
· Proven interest in international arbitration
· Bar qualification (preferred)
· Swiss or valid work permit
Responsibilities:
Their trainee lawyers gain invaluable experience by working alongside leading arbitration practitioners on complex, multi-faceted disputes. They have the opportunity to put into practice their intellectual, analytical, problem-solving and drafting skills and to integrate fully into counsel teams assigned to particular cases. The work is wide-ranging and includes legal research, the analysis of facts to support legal claims, and meaningful contributions to the preparation of procedural and substantive submissions. Trainees may also be called upon to assist senior lawyers with their arbitrator appointments or to work with the office’s International Trade practice.
