Legal Operations Associate
Qualifications:
- A Law degree
- Good understanding of Data Privacy related laws and practices, contract management services and contract life-cycle management
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret legal implications and provide practical advice.
- Experience in research on relevant laws, regulations & legal articles
- Exposure to tools for legal research, contract management, etc.
- Ability to work as an individual contributor
- Experience using Microsoft Office
Responsibilities:
- Manage projects involving data abstraction, analysis, review and reporting, capturing risks and obligations for clients, and managing the process through various tools.
- Generate quality reports and get them approved by the CLO.
- Review, finalize, and share the final approach document with the CLO.
- Communicate proactively with internal teams and clients to ensure all client requirements are met.
- Focus on accuracy and a first time-right approach to minimize rework.
- Prepare process and training documents, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and trackers.
- Address team queries and client FAQs.
- Assist clients in understanding the tools and help with troubleshooting.
- Conducting research on relevant laws, regulations & legal articles
- Tool training on legal concepts according to tool requirements of company.
- Speaking to clients to collect feedback on the process of using the tool, user experience and ease.
- Analyzing data privacy practices and providing business-enabling solutions.
- Developing processes for compliance with specific obligations and advising on the implementation of these processes.
