Qualification:
Education: LLB (3 year or 5 year)
Experience: 1+ years as a General Practice lawyer with a small or mid-sized law firm
Experience in real estate, debt recovery, insolvency and bankruptcy, general corporate and general litigation matters
Strong experience in legal research, drafting, court appearances and briefing counsels
Above average academic credentials
Fluent in English
Team player, highly motivated and able to work in a high-pressure environment
Mandatory: Enrolled with the Bar Council of India
Responsibilities:
Associate in the General Practice Department
Work as part of a team on matters involving general litigation, real estate, private client, general corporate, insolvency and bankruptcy, debt recovery, etc.
Carrying out legal research, drafting of pleadings, prosecuting cases, briefing counsels, and appearing before different courts and tribunals
Drafting of legal notices, agreements and all ancillary tasks associated therewith
Handling corporate commercial transactions including M&As, JVs, PE investments, corporate restructuring and fund formation
Drafting and negotiating license agreements, technology transfer agreements, business transfer agreements, franchise agreements, software license agreements, service agreements, software development agreements, NDAs, assignment deeds, distribution agreements, etc.
Travel across India as and when required
