Role:
Senior Associate
Qualification:
- Law degree (LL.B. or higher) from a top law university, with demonstrated excellent academic performance.
- Minimum 3 years’ post qualification experience as a transactional attorney in a reputable business law firm, or in-house experience with the legal department, preferably in a multi-national company.
- Must be fluent in MS office and comfortable with new technology.
- Prior experience with AI-driven legal tools, CLM platforms, or other legal tech solutions would be an added advantage.
- Exceptional written and oral English communication skills.
- Ability to operate in diverse cultural and international business settings.
- Successful track record of working in fast-paced, client-service environment.
- Ability to problem solve, manage escalation and collaborating with teams to achieve objectives.
- Highly-developed organizational skills and be articulate, detail oriented and hard working.
Responsibilities:
- Efficiently draft, negotiate and review contracts for the Company, including cross-border and multi-jurisdictional contracts.
- Conduct legal and regulatory research across different jurisdictions and summarize findings clearly and accurately for internal stakeholders.
- Team with other legal department lawyers and non-lawyer personnel to ensure timely execution of legal and compliance related tasks for the Company.
- Work closely with internal teams such as Business Development, Client Solutions, and Compliance to support day-to-day business operations and ensure timely execution of legal tasks.
- Support in developing and updating standard legal templates, checklists, and internal guidelines.
- Assist in monitoring legal and regulatory developments relevant to the Company’s business.
