Role:
Senior Commercial Attorney
Qualification:
- Law degree from a recognized Indian university (or Juris Doctorate from accredited US Law school or equivalent); LLM or international legal education is a plus.
- Minimum of 10 years of post-qualification experience in commercial law, preferably in a multinational corporate or law firm setting.
- Demonstrated experience handling both buy-side and sell-side transactions.
- Strong background in IT, outsourcing, professional services, or payroll-related legal matters.
- Solid understanding of global data privacy laws, including GDPR, and experience incorporating privacy considerations into commercial contracts.
- Excellent negotiation, drafting, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across time zones and cultures.

- Experience working with global teams and clients.
- Familiarity with intellectual property issues in commercial contexts.
- Business-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities:
- Lead and negotiate complex commercial contracts, including MSAs, SOWs, licensing agreements, outsourcing deals, and strategic partnerships.
- Provide strategic legal advice on commercial transactions, ensuring alignment with Strada’s Code of Conduct and global compliance standards.
- Support procurement and sales teams on deal structuring and contract execution.
- Collaborate with global legal and compliance teams to ensure consistency and adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Advise on data privacy and protection matters, including GDPR, cross-border data transfers, and privacy-related contractual obligations.
- Monitor legal and regulatory developments impacting commercial operations in India and globally.
- Promote ethical decision-making and risk mitigation in all legal engagements.
