The Ministry of Tribal Affairs has opened the portal for inviting eligible ST students to apply under the scheme National Overseas Scholarship Scheme for 2022-23.
About the scheme:
The National Overseas Scholarship is to facilitate the low-income students belonging to the Scheduled Castes, Denotified Nomadic and Semi-Nomadic Tribes, Landless Agricultural Labourers and Traditional Artisans category to obtain higher education viz., Master’s degree or PhD courses by studying abroad thereby improving their Economic and Social status.
The Scholarship is awarded to students selected for pursuing higher studies abroad at the Master’s level, PhD and Post – Doctoral Research programmes.
