Role:
National Law University Delhi offers a total of three fellowships for pursuing full time PhD (Law / Regulatory Studies) for the academic year 2023-24.
Terms of Fellowship:

- The PhD Regulations (https://nationallawuniversitydelhi.in/phd/PhD-Regulations.pdf) of the NLUD shall apply to PhD (Law / Regulatory Studies) with fellowship.

- A candidate, eligible for admission to Ph.D. programme of the NLUD in terms of PhD Regulations, and wishing to avail of any of above fellowships, shall take All India Law Entrance Test (AILET-2023). The details of the AILET-2023 are available at:

- The last date for applying for AILET-2023 is November 15, 2022.

- After a candidate qualifies in the AILET, the candidate will be advised to send a research synopsis in the broad area of research (column (6) of table above) of choice as per the Ph.D. Regulations.

- On admission with fellowship, a candidate will be known as IPR Chair/CIIPC/ /PFRDA/IFSCA Research Scholar (Hereafter referred to as Research Scholar) for the duration of fellowship.

- A Research Scholar may have more than one guide to guide her in research work, as may be determined by NLUD, in consultation with the sponsor of fellowship.

- Release of fellowship shall be in accordance with the terms of the fellowship agreed upon between the sponsor and the NLUD.

- The fellowship shall be released only if the performance and progress of the Research Scholar is satisfactory as per evaluation of the NLUD. Such evaluation may be made jointly with the sponsor of fellowship.

- NLUD will endeavour to provide accommodation in the campus on a best effort basis.

- The fellowship scholar will be required to complete the mandatory course work requirement as per Ph. D Regulations.
