About:
Shree Guru Gobind Singh Tricentenary (SGT) University is a unit of Dashmesh Educational Charitable Trust, constituted in the year 1999 with the avowed objective of spreading the message of Shree Guru Gobind Singh that the highest service is rendered by spreading knowledge.
SGT was conferred with the University status in 2013, but the seeds for its magnificent growth were sown way back in 2002 with the setting up of the SGT Dental College.

Qualifications:
Associate Professor: Qualifications
1. Must be PhD in law with a good academic record.
2. Must have a minimum of 8 years of teaching experience in University/ College of law in a position equivalent to that of Assistant Professor in a University/ College with evidence of published work.
Assistant Professor: Qualifications
1. Must be PhD in law with a good academic record.
2. Must have a minimum of 5 years of teaching experience in University/ College of law in a position equivalent to that of Assistant Professor in a University/ College with evidence of published work.
The candidate must possess experience, qualifications per the requirements of UGC and BCI.
Responsibilities:
The key responsibilities of the candidates are
- Encourage the development of innovative approaches to course design and delivery and ensure that teaching design and delivery comply with the quality and educational standards of the University
- Produce high quality teaching and learning material to support and develop student learning
- Represent and promote the research of the University at national and international forums
- Establish strong industry linkages and would bring industry insights to the law curriculum.
