About:
Mr Malak is an Advocate-on-Record before the Supreme Court and has 7 years of work experience from Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas and Co. He has vast experience in commercial litigation, white collar crime litigation and advisory, and insolvency laws. He regularly appear before various forums like Supreme Court, High Court, District Courts, Consumer Forum, Electricity Tribunals, National Company law Tribunal etc.
As part of his litigation experience, Malak has represented and advised various multinational companies in litigation proceedings before Supreme Court and High Courts. Malak also advises and represents various clients in international commercial arbitrations and domestic arbitrations as also court proceedings arising out of such arbitrations. He is a Member of the ICC Young Arbitrators’ Group and also an Executive Member of the Oxford Cambridge Society of India. He has represented the Government of India in settlement proceedings concerning a dispute initiated by a Russian telecom company under the India-Russia & India-Cyprus Bilateral Investment Treaty concerning withdrawal of permission to grant telecom licenses.
Role:
Chambers of Malak Bhatt, Advocate-on-Record is looking for an associate with PQE of 2-3 years. The area of practice shall largely be insolvency laws, white collar crime advisory and litigation, commercial litigation across Supreme Court, High Court and NCLAT/NCLT.
