Role:
Associate – Data Privacy
Location:
New Delhi
Qualification:
· Bachelor’s degree in law (LLB) – mandatory.
· 1–2 years of experience in data privacy, technology law, compliance, or related legal advisory.
· Working knowledge of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
· Understanding of GDPR and other global privacy frameworks (preferred).
· Strong drafting, documentation, and research capabilities.
· Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
· Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
Preferred (Not Mandatory):
· Experience working with organizations on compliance implementations.
· Experience in legal content writing or corporate consulting.
Responsibilities:
· Assist in drafting and reviewing privacy policies, consent notices, DPIAs, ROPAs, contracts, and compliance frameworks.
· Research privacy laws including DPDP Act, GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, and other global frameworks.
· Support client delivery by preparing reports, presentations, and compliance documentation.
· Contribute to gap assessments, audit work, implementation roadmaps, and remediation activities.
· Assist in developing privacy training materials, client scripts, awareness content, and handbooks.
· Support grievance redressal, incident reporting, and breach assessment projects when needed.
· Contribute to legal blogs, knowledge papers, and internal knowledge-building initiatives.
