Role:
Associate- International Arbitration and Construction Disputes
Location:
Abu Dhabi, UAE (Hybrid)
Skills:
Genuine knowledge of the construction industry across a range of sectors, major forms of construction contract and experience of claims which arise in construction projects;
- Experience of major forms of dispute resolution, including arbitration.
- Commercially focussed with an intellectual curiosity;
- Confident in front of clients;
- Ability to work independently but know when to seek additional support;
- Clear and concise communication skills; and
- Flexibility and adaptability.
Responsibilities:
Advising clients in relation to:-
Claims progression and escalation and other aspects of “real time” project advice; proceedings across a range of forums (particularly, across the Middle East, arbitration proceedings together with enforcement and ancillary actions in the local courts.
