Associate Manager
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in law.
- PQE: 1-3 Years.
Responsibilities:
1.Intellectual Property Rights:
- Provide counsel on trademark searches, registration, and protection of brand names, logos, and slogans and represent the company in trademark disputes and coordinate with external counsel as needed.
- Advise on copyright protection, registration, and enforcement for original works, including software, literature, and multimedia content and manage licensing agreements and copyright infringement issues.
- Draft and negotiate IP-related agreements, such as licensing agreements, distribution agreements, and technology transfer agreements.
- Provide counsel on IP portfolio management and commercialization strategies. Represent the company in IP-related litigation, including patent, trademark, and copyright disputes.
- Develop and implement IP strategies to maximize the company’s IP portfolio value.
- Conduct regular IP audits and provide recommendations for improvement and risk mitigation.
- Work closely with R&D, marketing, and business development teams to identify and protect new IP.
- Educate internal stakeholders on IP best practices, policies, and legal requirements.
2.Maintaining 100% compliance rate on Complinity:
- Check in and follow up with all functions across the organization to ensure compliances are done and submitted on the tool.
- Keep a thorough check to ensure compliances have been done and submitted as per relevant provisions of the law; Have a check on the new compliances that need to be mapped on the tool and collaborate with Complinity team for the same.
3.Keeping a track of privacy law & regulations:
- Maintain a repository for all relevant laws under which the Company needs to oblige
- Track implications of the said laws and regulations to communicate changes required and ensure compliance by all functions within the organization.
