Qualifications:
- Experience: 4-8 years in a reputed corporate law firm and/or as an in-house counsel;
- LLB/ LLM from a reputed university (additional CA, CS, MBA qualification will be a plus).
Responsibilities:
- In-depth knowledge and experience of company law, contracts, FDI policy, M&A, due diligence; drafting agreements (such as joint venture agreements, share purchase and shareholders’ agreements, technology transfer agreements, consortium agreements, distributor/ supplier/ franchisee and related agreements); preparing legal opinions; negotiations, etc.;
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, proactive, energetic, with an ability to manage competing priorities and deliver under tight timelines;
- Comfortable interacting with senior management and working across multiple time zones and cultures;
- Strong interpersonal skills, with a low tolerance for politics at the workplace;
- Excellent written and spoken English.
