Role:
Construction Corporate Lawyer

Experience:
4-5 years
Qualifications:
- Law Graduate from a reputable institution with an undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, or Commerce.
- Strong understanding of corporate law principles and practices, with significant experience in the construction industry.
- Extensive background in construction-related project finance.
- Proficiency in American English.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in the energy sector is highly desirable, with preference given to renewable energy, and top consideration for solar industry experience.
- Familiarity with U.S. law, especially California law (strongly preferred but not required).
- Experience working in a corporate legal department or law firm, with a focus on construction and project finance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other relevant legal software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Responsibilities:
- Drafting and reviewing a variety of legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and policies.
- Conducting legal research and analysis to support business initiatives.
- Advising on legal matters related to corporate governance, compliance, and risk management.
- Representing the company in legal proceedings, as needed.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure legal compliance and mitigate legal risks.
- Participating in client calls with U.S. clients, which may require late-night or early-morning availability.
