Role:
Legal Counsel
Responsibilities:
- Lead the team effectively so that the team provides excellent counsel to internal clients;
- Manage strategic initiatives for the company;
- Counsel senior management in a timely manner on various legal issues;
- Abreast with regulatory aspects and highlight the risks/ work on risk mitigation strategy;
- Manage company’s intellectual property portfolio;
- Manage MnA related activities from legal standpoint;
- Negotiate large deals/ transactions keeping company’s risks in mind;
- Review and draft policies from time to time from legal standpoint;
- Lead the corporate governance initiatives;
- Manage Vendor/ customer/ employee disputes/litigation;
- Draft agreements and opinions from time to time;
- Closely work and counsel C level executives in the organization;
- Provide expert legal advice to take informed business decisions in compliance with laws and regulations.
