Legal Manager
Qualifications:
- Qualified lawyer registered with the Bar Council of India with 5-8 years of post-qualification experience
- Prior in-house legal experience working in a fast-paced organization.
- Maintain a high level of attention to detail, the ability to work independently, adjust priorities, and work in a continuously changing environment.
- Must be enthusiastic and enjoy the hustle of a start-up
Responsibilities:
- Vetting of contracts entered with customers, vendors, Commission agents and all other business partners.
- Handling user transaction related disputes and representing mewt in all such cases.
- Implementation and providing necessary training regarding contract review checklists, model clauses, negotiation techniques on key issues, etc. to the respective internal sales, purchase and other teams.
- Vetting of Bank Guarantees and letter of credits in line with contractual terms and conditions.
- Attending Legal disputes for recoveries and defense of civil matters and Co-ordinating with external law firms on need basis to deal with Company legal and taxation related matters.
- Conducting and minuting Board Meetings, Annual General Meeting, Extraordinary General Meeting and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) meeting.
- Maintenance of statutory registers.
- Filing of necessary forms with Registration of Companies.
- Deal With labour law and all applicable laws compliance matters.
- Appear before the authorities for Inspection, notice, show cause notice, quasi-judicial proceedings and summons as and when needed.
- Resolving pending licences with regulatory department
