Role:
The company is looking for a lawyer with 3-5 years work experience.
Job description:
- Prepare, draft, review, negotiate and advise on different commercial agreements.
- Advice on potential M&A, private equity transactions including structuring of deals, documentation, due diligence etc.
- Manage day-to-day legal activities including corporate governance, regulatory compliance, intellectual property, tax, disputes and internal support for marketing, customer relations, operations, merchandising, HR, and finance teams.
- Drafting investment documents for incoming investment into the company as well as outbound investments made by the company and liaising with external firms for larger assignments.
- Researching and advising the company on legal matters associated with the business operations.
- Researching laws and regulations applicable to the company and advising on appropriate legal action, including drafting policies where appropriate.
- Overseeing the compliances and liaising with external counsels for company’s UK subsidiary related matters.
- Liaise with external counsels and advice on laws pertaining to offshore jurisdictions including UK, USA and UAE.
Requirement:
- 3-5 years PQE in law firms and/or as an in-house counsel.
- Quick learner.
- Willing to work with a start-up mindset and comfortable with quick turnaround of assignments.
- Ability to multitask and prioritise work in a fast-paced and complex business environment
- Identify and resolve complex legal, regulatory, and business issues requiring specialized knowledge and judgment.
- Have sound knowledge of business and finance.
- Ability to anticipate issues and estimate risks strategically, identify proactive solutions that will eliminate or mitigate risks and achieve business objectives.
