Role:
The Centre for Science, Technology & Society, School of Habitat Studies, Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai, invites applications for two research officer positions in the natural resource governance project of the centre in the Konkan region of Maharashtra. The project’s specific objective is to assess infrastructure projects’ key benefits and challenges and the forest rights act for the fishing and forest-dwelling communities in the Raigad and Thane districts. This is a short-term project; therefore, an appointment will be purely on a contract basis, strictly for a specific period.
Positions:
Two Research Officers.
Eligibility:
- Masters in Social Sciences or Law with experience in rural fieldwork, community development, livelihood and community organisation works.
- Proficiency in spoken & written Marathi language will have an added advantage.
