Qualifications:
- Strong MS Office skills (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build relationships internally and externally.
- Sound knowledge of the UK regulatory framework, including FCA rules and guidance in relation to Consumer Credit, – (ideally, more specifically Motor Finance).
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Ability to analyse
- Good time management and prioritisation skills
- Excellent academic background to include degree (or equivalent)
Responsibilities:
- To assist in the provision of administrative and legal services for the business.
- Drafting business case documents and responses to be provided to the Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS) in response to escalated Commissions Complaints
- Preparing legal documents
- Collation of documents for external counsel.
- Review of case documentation for issued commission claims.
- Handling confidential client or case information.
- Creating reports for internal stakeholders.
- Case Management
- Supporting the development of processes and procedures in relation to commissions claims/complaints
- Providing support and advice to the business areas in relation to initial commission claims/complaints
- Delivery of ad-hoc tasks as directed by the Head of Legal/Legal Counsel
