Senior Legal Associate – Corporate
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in law (LL.B.) with 3-4 years of legal practice.
- Bar Council registration.
- Proven experience in Intellectual Property Rights Registration and contract law.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Strong expertise in contract drafting, legal research, and document preparation.
- Strong ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Exceptional writing and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in computer skills.
Responsibilities:
- The Legal Associate shall be responsible for providing legal advice and support to the firm`s clients and ensuring the efficient operation of the legal department.
- Draft, review, and revise legal documents with accuracy and precision, ensuring adherence to legal requirements and client objectives.
- Conduct due diligence investigations and gather relevant information for client projects.
- Drafting, vetting, negotiating and advising on various types of transaction agreements with respect to M&A and business transfers
- Conducting extensive legal research to support case preparation and provide guidance on legal matters.
- Drafting, vetting, and finalizing various commercial agreement such as, distribution agreements, technology licensing agreements, technology assignment agreements, supply agreements, non-disclosure agreement, share pledge agreement, escrow agreements, power of attorneys, etc
- Lead and manage complex legal cases, including court representation.
- Mentor and guide junior legal associates.
- Reviewing and analyzing contracts to ensure compliance with legal requirements and company policies.
