About the organisation:
Nyaaya is open access, digital resource that provides simple, actionable, recallable and authoritative legal information to Indian citizens. We want to enable access to information about the law in multiple Indian languages so that access to justice is not limited to a privileged minority.
Role:
Nyaaya is looking for a Kannada Content Volunteer for its Content team to work remotely. It is looking for someone who is passionate about changing the way citizens interact with the law.
Responsibilities:
Your primary task will be to assist the team in creating and translating Kannada legal content to ensure fast-paced content development while ensuring the quality and accuracy of the final content. You will be assisting in Nyaaya’s Kannada content creation and dissemination across various platforms, including the Nyaaya website and social media channels.
Requirements:
- Fluency (particularly, in writing) in Kannada and English is mandatory for this role.
- Strong research and writing skills.
- Ability to work in a cross-functional team.
- Previous experience in Kannada research and content writing is desirable.
Location and Remuneration:
- This is a remote position based out of Bangalore.
- The volunteer will be paid Rs. 5000 per month.
