Qualifications:
- Masters law degree (LLM)
- Prior experience with hospitality/hotel or travel or any service sector, etc.
- Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience of various concerning domains (as mentioned above)
- Broad knowledge of legal framework pertaining to hospitality/hotel sector
- Prior experience of scaling/managing teams, working in a fast-paced environment, etc.
- Prior experience of working in a team, managing/communicating within teams and across geographies
- Outstanding analytical, communication, inter-personnel & time-management skills
Job Description:
- Understand company’s vision, roadmap & various legal requirements
- Understand commercial contracting, real-estate (hospitality/hotel) agreements, trade licenses, various hotel licenses (shop & establishment, fire, pollution, tourism, etc.), labour laws & related compliances, insurance agreements, statutory compliances in the hospitality/hotel sector, consumer complaints, etc.
- Understand health, environment & safety related laws
- Understand franchise vertical & related technicalities
- Assessing various compliances, due diligence processes and analysing possible legal risks & mitigation strategies
- Building & managing a vibrant legal team
- Ensuring adherence to ongoing/upcoming compliances
- Ensuring best practices wrt trade/non-trade legal compliances
