Qualifications:
- Should have legal and practical knowledge of the technical issues for Indirect Tax (GST, Customs, Foreign Trade Policy).
- Must be updated with the latest updates, case laws, notifications, and circulars issued by the government.
Responsibilities:
- Should work with the Business Development team to pitch the clients
- Research on the case laws for advisory, writ, appeal, etc.
- Drafting of replies to SCNs and notices issued under the GST Act, Customs Act, LMA Act, etc.
- Preparation of Annual Return and Reconciliation Statements
- Handling of Departmental Audits under GST Act
- Handling of Special Valuation Branch Orders and its related investigations such as finalization of provisional assessments, closure of Provisional Duty Bonds, etc.
- Appearance before the authorities to explain the submission made.
- Preparation of the transaction Advisory for the question raised by the client.
