Research Associate
Qualifications:
- Masters Degree in Economics, Data Science or Development Studies, or related field is mandatory.
- One year of data analytics experience in related fields
- Proven expertise in using software packages like R and python is mandatory
- Proven expertise in visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau or other similar tools
- Experience in conducting geo-spatial analysis using software like QGIS, R or python is desirable
- Ability to structure hypothesis, build thoughtful analyses, develop underlying data models and bring clarity to previously undefined problems
- Strong problem solving & analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills; written and oral
Responsibilities:
- Keen on advancing gender equality in India’s booming healthcare sector
- The individual will play a pivotal role in supporting the Women in Leadership (WIL) Initiative by Catalytic Corps, in partnership with the Dasra Foundation and The Udaiti Foundation.
- Work with senior team members to assist in the broader data and applied research strategy of the Udaiti Foundation.
- Perform end-to-end tasks in data analytics projects including data scraping, data transformation, data analysis and developing interactive dashboards and reports.
- Analyse existing and emerging data gaps on women economic empowerment with special focus on workforce participation and entrepreneurship development.
- Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality.
- Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
- Design and develop survey design, questionnaires, polls etc. that meet the research requirements.
