Role:
Associate Manager – Legal and Compliance
Qualification:
- Law graduate from a reputed law college (CS qualification is a plus).
- 8-12 years post-qualification experience.
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and confident.
Responsibilities:
- Reviewing, negotiating and drafting a wide variety of client contracts including master service agreements, partnership agreements, reseller agreements, and other commercial contracts at a global level.
- Reviewing, negotiating and drafting vendor contracts such as purchase of goods and services, equipment lease agreements, subscription agreements etc.
- Drafting and reviewing real estate agreements such as lease agreements, maintenance agreements, fit out agreements, etc.,
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating technology contracts such as license agreements, content subscription agreements, website terms and conditions, EULA, App terms of Use etc.
- Assisting in providing advisory support on employment / HR matters (across jurisdictions mainly US, Europe & India) including but not limited to termination letters, settlement agreements, notices, reply to notices, and applicable labour laws.
- Assisting in liaising with external counsel(s).
- Assisting in formulating compliance frameworks and managing and tracking client compliance,
- Assisting in drafting compliance policies, SOPs, and related documentation,
- Conducting research on relevant laws, regulations, and case law,
- Creating and managing trackers for monitoring client requirements,
- Participating in internal and external audits,
- Engaging in automation initiatives,
- Performing other tasks as assigned.
