Qualification:
- Currently enrolled in the 4th or 5th year of a recognized 5-year B.A. LL.B. program (or the final year of a 3-year LL.B. program).
- Demonstrated interest in corporate litigation, insolvency proceedings, and commercial dispute resolution.
- Exceptional legal drafting skills with a keen eye for formatting and precision.
- Proficiency in legal research databases (SCC Online, Manupatra, etc.).
- A proactive mindset, the ability to work under tight deadlines, and a high level of professional discretion.
Responsibilities:
- Drafting & Vetting: Assist in drafting a wide range of legal documents, including pleadings, plaints, written statements, legal notices (such as Section 138 NI Act notices), and various interlocutory applications.
- Comprehensive Case Research: Conduct in-depth legal research on complex propositions related to the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (IBC), company law, commercial recovery, and contract disputes.
- Brief Preparation: Prepare case notes, date-wise summaries, and briefing documents for senior counsels and internal reviews.
- Case Tracking & Compliance: Monitor the status of ongoing litigation across multiple jurisdictions, track hearing dates, and assist with document collation and annexure preparation for court filings.
- Strategic Analysis: Assist the team in analyzing litigation funding opportunities and assessing the legal merits and recovery potential of commercial claims.
