Qualifications:
- 𝟰 𝘁𝗼 𝟳 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲
- The Code of Civil Procedure, 1908; Indian Evidence Act, 1872; and the Limitation Act, 1963
- The Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, including the amendments thereto
- Understanding of the Companies Act, 2013
- Laws of Contract including the Indian Contract Act, 1872; and Specific Relief Act, of 1963
- Court procedures and filings
- Excellent oratory skills.
- Experienced drafting and vetting skills.
- Ability to advise and act diligently and in time sensitive manner.
- Preparing for arbitration hearings, evidentiary hearings and court appearances, and other processes.
- Time management, data management, and organization skills.
- Experience in representing clients before forums (for adjudication, arbitration, and litigation).
- 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽: Leads and guides a team of two to three individuals and also meets senior management expectations.

- 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗹𝘂𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀: Ability to impress on peers, superiors and clients that the team can deliver high value for a variety of matters/sectors.
Responsibilities:
- Ability to advise and comment on practice-specific client issues independently.
- Supervises resource planning, team deliverables, etc. in delivering client expectations to the extent possible.
- Acts as a communication channel between senior management and the team members.
- Manages client relationships to ensure client retention (delivery, fee expectations, post-delivery application of advice, invoicing, and collections).
- Appears before courts and forums including arbitral tribunals.
- Drafting and vetting pleadings for arbitration proceedings and arbitration-related litigation proceedings.
- Independently brief outside counsel and senior counsel.
- Represents ELP in seminars and conferences in relation to the practice area. Assists in knowledge sharing and staying abreast with legal developments in the practice area.
- Assists in business development for the practice either through engaging clients or nurturing existing client relationships.
- Travel within the city and outstation to perform assignments.
