Responsibilities:
They are currently seeking a Senior Associate – Direct Taxation & FEMA to join our team. The selected candidate will be responsible for handling complex taxation issues and developments such as BEPS, GAAR, indirect transfers, AMP related adjustments, etc. They will acquire all necessary information and documents from clients and review them internally to maintain accuracy. Additionally, the candidate will draft and prepare proposals and pitch presentations, evaluate potential business acquisition areas, and assist principal/partners in acquiring new business. They will identify leads from external and existing clients, grow industrial knowledge, and enhance services to existing clients. The candidate will also be responsible for drafting engagement letters accurately, managing the end-to-end invoicing process, and tracking payment status.
