- ASSAM CANCER CARE FOUNDATION
About the NGO:
The NGO was set up in December 2017 to build a first-of-its-kind, three-level cancer grid in the state. It is a joint partnership between the Assam Government and Tata Trusts. The Trusts and the Assam Government conceptualised the shared care model to create patient-centric cancer institutions to produce standardized and affordable care closer to patients’ homes, and the foundation is expected to benefit 50% of Assam’s cancer patients.
