Role:
Foreign Attorney
Qualification:
- 2-5 years of post-qualification experience, gained at a leading law firm or arbitral institution, preferably with a focus on international arbitration, construction disputes, or complex commercial litigation
- Experience working on cross-border disputes or advising multinational clients in international matters
- Outstanding communication skills, including the ability to analyze, distill and present complex factual and legal issues with clarity and precision
- Excellent English drafting and legal research skills, with experience preparing written submissions, pleadings, or legal memoranda
- The ability to work under pressure and manage multiple workstreams and competing deadlines
- A team player with strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the conduct of international arbitration proceedings, including matters under the ICC, LCIA, SIAC, HKIAC, UNCITRAL, KCAB, AAA-ICDR, LMAA and other major (and regional) arbitration rules
- Draft and review written submissions, witness statements, legal memoranda, and correspondence in complex cross-border disputes
- Support hearing preparation and advocacy, including factual analysis, legal research, and strategic input
- Advise clients on dispute strategy and risk management, particularly in relation to international commercial and investment disputes
- Work closely with partners and senior team members on high-value, multi-jurisdictional arbitration matters
- Engage in knowledge development and thought leadership, including contributing to internal know-how and external publications where appropriate
